Aeroglaze Polyurethane Coating

Aeroglaze® polyurethane coatings deliver specialized surface protection and functional finishes for demanding aircraft and aerospace applications. The range includes coating systems suitable for metals, aluminum and composites, with product options designed to address abrasion, erosion, impact, weathering and chemical exposure. Performance and substrate compatibility depend on the selected coating and primer system. 

Moisture-curing formulations include Aeroglaze A276, a reflective coating that produces a high-gloss white finish. It offers color retention, resistance to chalking and a hard surface resistant to most acids, alkaline detergents, lubricants and chemicals. Its low-outgassing properties also support applications involving high-vacuum environments.

For specialized space applications, Aeroglaze Z306 is a single-component polyurethane coating that combines a flat-black finish with high thermal absorptivity and low outgassing. Its specified continuous operating temperature range is −150°C to 104°C, with excursions to 121°C permitted for up to four hours. Aeroglaze Z307 adds electrical conductivity for static-dissipation applications.

Where erosion resistance is the primary requirement, Aeroglaze M1433A is a two-component urethane qualified to MIL-PRF-85322. Designed to protect vulnerable surfaces against wind, sand and rain erosion, it cures to a flat-gray finish and uses Aeroglaze M1433B as its curative component.
